MATTY
Matty is an easy-going one year old gray and brown male Catahoula mix puppy who was found in Lynwood on August 6th and brought to the Downey Shelter. Weighing twenty-seven pounds, this smart pup walks great on leash, knows how to ‘sit’ and ‘come’ on command and we think he may be housebroken. He is genial, gets along fine with other dogs and we believe he will make an outstanding pet for children. He loves to go on walks and to meet and greet everyone around him. Matty will make a marvelous indoor pet for an active individual or family living in a private home.
BUMBLEBEE
Bumblebee is an athletic eleven month old tricolor male Dachshund/Terrier mix puppy who was abandoned at the Downey Shelter on July 26th. Weighing twenty-four pounds, this sporty dog walks good on leash but will benefit from formal training. He is affectionate, gets along fine with other dogs and we think he will make a fantastic pet for children. Bumblebee will make the perfect walking/hiking buddy and excellent indoor pet for an active individual or family in any living situation
MAXIMUS
Maximus is an kissy two year old black and tan male Miniature Pinscher who was found in Lynwood on July 24th and brought to the Downey Shelter. Weighing seventeen pounds, this attentive dog walks well on leash, knows how to ‘sit’ on command and we think he may be housetrained. He is considerate, gets along fine with other dogs and we believe he will do well with children. He loves to go for walks and he also likes to jump right up in to your lap for a cuddle. Maximus will make a devoted indoor pet for an active individual or family in any living situation.

BUDDY
Buddy is a two year old chihuahua cross (possibly with corgi). He is a portly little guy weighing about 20 lbs and he could use a little diet! Buddy is fine with dogs his size and he is a little cautious with bigger dogs. He is good with cats and kids. He lived with a foster family who has an autistic child and they played very nicely together.
Buddy is up to date on all vaccinations, he is microchipped, and neutered.
